Who are we?
We are members of Beirut Association for Social Development (BASD).
AL MAJAL is a specialized center dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people with special needs by giving them the opportunities to develop their abilities through interactive educational activities. The center targets children with learning disabilities, such as autism, down syndrome, and other mental and physical handicaps.

- Al Majal Junior nursery for children with special needs (from Monday till Saturday- from 7:30am till 2:00pm)
Ages: 1 year and a half to 5 years old - Al Majal leisure center (daily activities from 4:00 to 6:00pm)
Ages: 5 years to 35 years old - Majalouna: professional and educational project (from Monday till Friday, 8:00 am till 1:00pm)
Ages: 15 years to 40 years old.
- AL MAJAL NURSERY
The nursery welcomes children with special needs. Special educators, therapists provide special care according to every child’s needs. - WHY AL MAJAL IS SO SPECIAL?
Al Majal is a place where children and young people with special needs are welcomed in a warm and caring environment. Through play and fun they are encouraged to gain confidence by trying new activities supervised by professionals.
- They can enjoy sport activities: Basketball, swimming, horseback riding…etc.
- Children can develop their creativity and talents with: Arts and crafts, pottery, dancing, music, cooking, theater…etc.
- Outdoor activities and summer camps are also provided by al Majal.
